June 8, 2004i2 Technologies, Inc. (OTC: ITWO), a leading provider of closed-loop supply chain management solutions, today announced that technology executive Richard L. Clemmer will join the i2 Board of Directors.
Clemmer has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, where he has held a variety of executive, financial and management positions. Since mid-2003, he has been chairman and president of Venture Capital Technology LLC, a company focused on investing in and consulting for technology companies. From 2001-2003 he served in variety of positions including chairman, chief executive officer and chief financial officer at PurchasePro.com, Inc., a provider of electronic procurement and strategic sourcing solutions. He also served as executive vice president, finance and chief financial officer of Quantum Corporation, a provider of hard disk drives and other storage solutions, from 1996 to 2001. From 1988 to 1996 Clemmer was senior vice president and chief financial officer of the Semiconductor Group of Texas Instruments Incorporated.
Clemmer is also on the Board of Directors of Agere Systems, serves on the Advisory Board of Epolicy and is chairman of u-Nav Microelectronics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University and a master’s in business administration from Southern Methodist University.
