4Production to offer i2 solutions to small and medium-sized companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

March 7, 20054Production AG, a provider of solutions for the planning and control of manufacturing processes based in Germany, together with i2 Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of demand-driven supply chain solutions designed to enable business agility, today announced a reseller agreement to offer i2 solutions to small and medium-sized companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
This agreement builds on the alliance relationship already established between 4 Production and i2 in 1999 which focused on joint selling. Under the new agreement, 4 Production will be able to offer i2 Factory Planner, Demand Planner and Supply Chain Planner solutions. These solutions are designed to enable companies to understand, anticipate and manage customer demand across the value chain as well as create production plans by taking into account specific restrictions. Using these solutions, customers can achieve a higher degree of customer satisfaction by gaining visibility to the supply chain for better plan execution.
