i2 Technologies, Inc. (OTC: ITWO), a leading provider of end-to-end supply chain management solutions, today announced the appointment of SCM Technologies as its lead distribution partner for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The company, which will operate under the name of i2 CIS, will market, sell and implement i2 solutions to companies predominantly in the retail, energy and metals industries.

SCM Technologies was founded in 2002 to provide world-class supply chain management solutions and services to companies in the former Soviet Union. As i2’s lead distribution partner for the region, the company will now focus solely on the sale [of i2 solutions. The company is changing its name to i2 CIS to demonstrate its commitment to the i2 brand and to help it capitalise on growing demand for supply chain management (SCM) solutions.
