Girard available to speak with NRF attendees at i2 Booth #404
Dallas --
January 7, 2004i2 Technologies, Inc. (OTC: ITWO), a leading provider of end-to-end supply chain management solutions, announced today that former AMR Research analyst, Greg Girard, has joined the i2 retail organization.
Girard began his career at AMR Research by leading AMR's coverage of the supply chain market. In 1999 he founded the AMR Research Retail Advisory Service and as its thought-leader, drove it to prominence by advising Global 1000 retailers regarding markdown and price optimization, advanced planning applications, demand replenishment, and store execution management. From that position, Girard covered the established and more significant start-up retail applications vendors.
"As an industry analyst, I've seen what’s good, bad and ugly about the retail market and I know that in joining i2 I've got the pick of the litter among retail software companies," said Greg Girard, vice president, industry marketing, i2. "i2's scalable and modular retail applications, backed by analytics and optimization and with i2's commitment to R&D and customer service, is the greatest story in this industry. i2 people are singularly focused on solving their retail customers' toughest business problems. It's exhilarating to join this awesome team."
"Greg Girard is a strong addition to i2's retail team," said Bruce Richardson, senior vice president, research, AMR Research. "He brings extensive domain knowledge of both retail and consumer goods markets, as well as expertise in supply chain planning and execution. He should be very influential in helping i2 expand its current footprint and create its next generation of software and related services."
"We are very fortunate to have Greg join i2 to lead our marketing efforts in retail. He brings a very good understanding of the solutions the retail industry needs and the unique value i2 can provide. He is a top notch communicator who can immediately help us convey the value our solutions deliver,” said George Cannon, senior vice president, consumer goods and retail.
i2 will demonstrate its continued customer commitment and success in the retail industry by participating in the NRF 93rd Annual Convention and Expo, Sunday through Wednesday, Jan. 11-14 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. NRF attendees can meet with i2 at booth #404. Companies seeking meetings with i2 executives during the show should e-mail the company at info@i2.com.
