May 5, 2006 i2 Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITWO), today announced that Robert S. Elliott has been named senior vice president of Global Partners. In this role, Elliott will work closely with i2’s key alliances, focused around value added resellers, systems integrators, independent software vendors, and OEMs. He is also responsible for developing and executing the company’s partner strategy, recruitment through retention, as well as directing the company’s channel marketing programs.
Elliott is a seasoned software professional with expertise across several industry verticals and enterprise application solutions. Prior roles include working as Canadian Country Manager of Sybase, where he was responsible for sales, consulting, pre-sales, channels, administration and facilities, and as Americas vice president of TempoSoft, a web-based workforce management software company.

He will focus his efforts on growing incremental business in geographies and verticals where i2 is looking to expand, by leveraging our partner’s expertise. In addition, he will bring quality metrics to the partner organization, offering new certification programs and structure to assist our partners in being successful in the businesses they run in partnership with i2 Technologies.” said Barbara Stinnett, i2 Executive Vice President, Customer Operations, and Chief Customer Officer.
Throughout his career, Elliott also held several roles with Ariba where he managed North American sales and pre-sales within the company’s Retail and Consumer Packaged goods industries, and also served the company’s general manager responsible for corporate marketplaces in the Airline, Transportation and Aerospace verticals. He has also worked in various sales positions at J.D. Edwards.
Elliott earned his bachelor of arts in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and his masters of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
