Rexel France Implementing i2 Solutions to Improve Sales and Operation Planning Processes

i2 Demand Management, Master Data Management and Replenishment Management solutions being implemented to support Rexel’s strategic supply chain initiative aimed at better serving customers while reducing costs

PARIS -- June 28, 2006

i2 Technologies, Inc., (NASDAQ: ITWO), today announced that Rexel France, a world leader for distribution of electrical parts and supplies, lighting, and cabling systems, is implementing i2 Demand Manager, i2 Master Data Management and i2 Replenishment Planner solutions to help improve their sales and operation planning processes. The implementations are taking place at 11 different distribution centers.

Rexel France is implementing i2 for Retail solutions to help improve customer service levels and enable faster new product introductions while keeping inventory levels low. Furthermore, Rexel France intends to use the i2 solutions to improve collaboration with key suppliers by increasing productivity through information sharing and improving its market forecast.

Rexel France selected i2 for Retail solutions following the evaluation of several different solution providers.  The company is implementing the i2 solutions to help improve its sales and operations planning processes by:

* anticipating actions for its commitment to suppliers
* integrating events and promotions into its planning
* making allocation decisions at Rexel France level between all departments – purchasing, sales, marketing and logistics
* increasing service levels through the communication of a forecast to its main suppliers

“Rexel has a clear strategy to offer its worldwide customers quality products and reliable services. We strongly believe that i2 for Retail solutions can help us achieve our goals with solutions that can enable us to improve our product and flow management with suppliers, and deliver better service to our customers,” explains Michel Toury, Supply Chain director, Rexel France.

“We are very excited to work with Rexel in their strategic supply chain initiative. They wisely understand that improved collaboration with suppliers, faster product introductions and lower inventory levels will help them gain greater supply chain efficiency, and we are pleased to help them work toward achieving their goals in these areas,” said Pieter Van den Broecke, i2 senior director, Retail, EMEA.
