Black Diamond APS (Advanced Planning Systems)…helps companies assess strategic supply chain opportunities and plan and execute projects within procurement, manufacturing, forecasting, order management, distribution, warehousing, and transportation.
The group offers four key services:
Strategic Opportunity Assessment (SOA), helping companies evaluate their supply chains, uncovering key supply chain issues, barriers, and financial/service impact. This process will quantify the opportunity to improve the supply chain, including systems and processes, using the following steps:
Project Management, helping companies develop the plan, build the team, execute the project, and successfully deliver the business objectives. The group will use a “business release” methodology to manage projects. This proven methodology allows the business to implement the process improvements and software solution in short, structured, scalable steps. Each business release ranges from 4–6 months, and is linked to quantifiable benefits, contributing to overall payback on the project. What distinguishes Black Diamond APS are its skills and experience in successfully managing a wide range of projects, across all elements of the supply chain.
Business Analysis Services, helping companies analyze both business and technical issues, using proven techniques to ensure successful resolution. A key element of success for business analysis is the ability to not only support what the company would like to do, but also to uncover additional opportunities during he process. The Black Diamond APS Business Analysis process uses the following steps to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
Strategic Implementation Assessment (SIA), helping companies evaluate their recently completed and ongoing enterprise and supply chain projects, with the objective of helping meet the companies’ strategic business objectives.
