A Message from Sanjiv Sidhu, Founder and Chairman
of the Board of i2
This year, as we celebrate the 20th
anniversary of i2’s founding, I reflect on years
past with an enormous sense of pride in all we have accomplished in
partnership with our customers. In our early days, my fellow co-founder
Ken Sharma and I spent countless hours meeting with customers. We
wanted to discover what their problems were, learn what kept them up
at night, and determine how we could change their businesses for the
better. Focusing on what the customer needed, rather than what we
had to offer, helped us to time and again deliver the right solution to
their supply chain challenges.
Today, our approach to addressing the world’s toughest supply chain
issues is much the consame. Our intense focus on understanding the specific
needs of every company we work with continues to serve us—and our
customers—extremely well.
While our core value of delivering rapid, measurable, world-class business
results has stayed the same, the ways companies interact with their
suppliers and customers have changed. As a result, i2 emphasizes
innovation, continually developing new services and technologies to
address the constantly changing business and economic environment
around us.
The fruits of our labor are displayed on a grand scale each year at i2 Planet,
where we gather with our customers and our partners to share best
practices and learn what they’ve achieved through their implementations
of i2 solutions and services. Through the years, i2 Planet has provided an
unmatched opportunity for discovery and growth, truly making it the one
supply chain best practices forum you can’t afford to miss.
Our tradition of value realization will be reflected this year at i2 Planet
Phoenix, as we explore the latest supply chain challenges and successes
shaping business today. Please join me as we engage in what promises
to be the liveliest discussion and information sharing on supply chain
management you’ll experience all year.
Sincerely,
Sanjiv Sidhu
Founder and Chairman of the Board
