On November 5, 2009, i2 Technologies, Inc. agreed to be acquired by JDA Software Group, Inc. This session features presentations by i2 Chairman, President, and CEO, Jackson L. Wilson, Jr., and JDA President and CEO, Hamish Brewer. Each shares his view on the newly proposed organization, and how it will benefit supply chain practitioners around the world.

Jackson L. Wilson, Jr.

Chairman, President, and CEO, i2 Technologies, Inc.

Jackson L. Wilson, Jr. was named i2 Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer in December 2008. He has been a member of the i2 Board of Directors since April 2005 and was named Executive Chairman of the Board in May 2008. He previously served as the Chairman of the audit committee and the strategic review committee.

Mr. Wilson retired as CEO of Accenture's Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) division in August 2004. As CEO he was responsible for implementing Accenture's strategy to increase its share of the growing BPO market. From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Wilson also served as Managing General Partner of Accenture Technology Ventures, the venture capital unit of Accenture. Previously, he was the Worldwide Managing Partner of Global Markets for Accenture. Mr. Wilson joined Accenture in 1975 and became Partner in 1983.

Mr. Wilson has served on numerous public and private corporate boards of directors. He has been a Senior Advisor to Cerberus Capital LLC, participating in a number of technology-related private equity transactions. He is a Director and investment committee member of Seraph Capital, a venture capital company and serves on the board of their largest portfolio company.

Mr. Wilson holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Arizona in 1969 and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Southern California in 1975.

Hamish Brewer

President and Chief Executive Officer, JDA Software Group, Inc.

Hamish Brewer was promoted in August 2003 to his current position and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of JDA and developing company strategy. The company's Executive Vice President/CFO, Executive Vice President of Services, and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing report directly to Mr. Brewer.

Mr. Brewer's prior positions include President from 2001 to 2003; Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales from 2000 to 2001; Senior Vice President, Enterprise Systems, from 1999 to 2000; Senior Vice President, International, from 1998 to 1999; and Vice President, Europe, Middle East & Africa Operations from 1996 to 1998. He joined JDA's UK office as an Account Manager in 1994 with a focus on sales and marketing.

Prior to JDA, Mr. Brewer worked for eight years at IBM as a Retail Specialist in sales and marketing. He also worked at a retailer in England with responsibilities for operations, information management, and stock control.

Mr. Brewer holds a B.Sc. degree in production engineering and a B.Com. degree in economics from the University of Birmingham, UK.

As a Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) for LG Electronics, Didier Chenneveau has global responsibility for the company's supply chain management. He is based at LG's headquarters in Seoul, Korea.

Before joining LG in 2008, Mr. Chenneveau was Vice President of Americas Operations for HP's Imaging and Printing Business, based in San Diego, USA. He has also worked for HP in Europe, running its Consumer PC Business and in various financial and operations management roles. Prior to HP, Mr. Chenneveau worked for Caterpillar.

Mr. Chenneveau is a native of France and citizen of Switzerland. He is an alumnus of EM-Lyon and INSEAD and a board member of EPCglobal.

Kelly Thomas

Senior Vice President, Product Strategy and Planning, i2 Technologies, Inc.

Kelly Thomas is the Senior Vice President for i2's Product Strategy and Planning Group. In this new role, Mr. Thomas is responsible for defining and managing i2's portfolio of products, both as they exist today, and as they should evolve in order to serve market opportunities in the future. In close coordination with research and development, the field organization, finance and marketing, he will manage the i2 process for making investment and de-investment decisions regarding i2's products and the markets they serve.

Prior to this role, Mr. Thomas was the Senior Vice President for i2's Manufacturing Industries Sector, which covers the automotive, aerospace and defense, industrial, metals, electronics systems and OEMs, and semiconductors and components industries.

Mr. Thomas joined i2 in 1995 and led supply chain business process consulting efforts in the automotive, industrial, consumer packaged goods, retail and textile industries. Throughout his tenure at i2, his accomplishments have included leading the initial development of i2's consumer packaged goods industry solution, as well as the creation of i2's automotive and industrial solutions and implementation consulting practice. Mr. Thomas has also led i2's industry solutions efforts for automotive and industrial, high-tech, consumer goods, retail and metals.

Prior to joining i2, Mr. Thomas worked at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) for 10 years, where he held a variety of positions including Division Chief Technology Officer, Engineering Manager and Software Solutions Architect. Prior to that, he was a Simulation Software Development Engineer for a start-up company.

Mr. Thomas has more than 20 years of experience in designing, developing and implementing supply chain management, manufacturing execution and supplier relationship management solutions, including implementations at more than two dozen Fortune 500 companies. The author of numerous papers in the areas of planning, scheduling, manufacturing execution systems and autonomous agents, Mr. Thomas has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences including OSAT, AutoLog, AIAG, and Nikkei Automotive. He is a former board member of the Supply Chain Council.

Mr. Thomas received a degree in chemical engineering from Rutgers University, where he was a Slade Scholar.

Vice President, Global Markets, Penske Logistics

Frank Hazeltine is Vice President of Global Markets for Penske Logistics and has been employed with Penske since 1998. In this role, he is responsible for the development and expansion of Penske geographies and services. Prior to his current position, he was Vice President of Freight Management and General Manager of Transport Management Services for Penske Logistics, focused on providing customers optimized transportation management on a global basis.

Mr. Hazeltine has also served Penske Logistics in the capacity of General Manager - Industry Development, where he was responsible for providing sales and marketing support for the business.

Previous to his employment with Penske, he was Director of Forecasting and Planning for Lenox, Inc., a manufacturer, retailer and distributor of fine china, crystal and other forms of giftware.

Prior to Lenox, Inc., Mr. Hazeltine was employed in the consulting industry, holding the positions of Consulting Manager for Ernst & Young and Senior Consultant with Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Hazeltine has also held the position of Materials Manager for Machine Technology, Inc., a manufacturer of OEM equipment for the semiconductor industry.

Mr. Hazeltine is a certified member of the National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM) and the American Production & Inventory Control Society (APICS). He received his BS in business administration from Bloomsburg University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickenson University.

Mr. Hazeltine resides in Downingtown, Pa. with his wife Mary Frances and daughter, Ashley.

Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Solutions, Agility

Mo Bazaraa is Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Solutions at Agility. He is responsible for logistics engineering and for developing attractive supply chain solutions globally in support of sales and for improving existing operations. Dr. Bazaraa has over 30 years of experience in the areas of transportation, logistics, supply chain, and information technology.

Dr. Bazaraa worked as Professor at Georgia Tech and as Managing Director at the Logistics Institute at Georgia Tech. He served as Senior Vice President of Air Cargo and Logistics at Sabre, a leading travel and transportation information technology company. He led Sabre's efforts in providing consulting services and developing logistics and supply chain software solutions to many customers including air cargo carriers, railroads, trucking companies, third-party logistics providers, manufacturers, and retailers.

Dr. Bazaraa also served as Senior Vice President at Burnham, a third-party logistics provider. His responsibilities included information systems, planning, traffic management, fleet maintenance, and pricing of services.

Evan Armstrong

President, Armstrong & Associates, Inc.

Evan Armstrong has over 19 years of experience in supply chain management. As President of Armstrong & Associates, Inc., he oversees many market research initiatives and provides consulting services to supply chain participants in the following areas: business planning, logistics outsourcing, mergers and acquisitions, market analysis and benchmarking, transportation management, and supply chain systems evaluation and selection.

Prior to joining Armstrong & Associates, Inc. in February 2000, Mr. Armstrong was Vice President of Pricing at Roadrunner Freight Systems, Inc. (a $120 Million non-asset based transportation provider). He has held sales and marketing and operations positions with major providers of small package transportation, LTL transportation, and third-party logistics services. Mr. Armstrong has developed and implemented transportation and logistics systems and has spearheaded startup logistics operations for Fortune 500 customers.

He has an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and a BBA - Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Razat Gaurav

Senior Vice President, i2 Technologies, Inc.

Razat Gaurav, a Senior Vice President at i2, is responsible for leading go-to-market activities across the Americas and EMEA regions. His current responsibilities include managing the regional P&L's, leading business development activities, providing strategic advice to key customer executives, managing partner and alliance relationships and providing input into the solution and industry roadmaps. Mr. Gaurav is also responsible for providing executive sponsorship and thought leadership for i2's logistics solutions on a global basis.

Mr. Gaurav has served in various roles including product management, strategic consulting, sales and marketing. Most recently as head of the global logistics business unit at i2, he was responsible for all aspects of i2's network design, inventory management, transportation management and visibility solution offerings, as well as the company's global logistics business, including industry marketing, sales, pre-sales, services and support.

Throughout his tenure at i2, Mr. Gaurav has worked closely with retailers, third-party logistics companies, consumer manufacturers and high-tech manufacturers in North America, Europe and Asia to provide strategic advisory services, helping them improve their supply chain and logistics performance.

Prior to i2, Mr. Gaurav worked as a Management Consultant at Ernst & Young's supply chain and logistics practice. In this role, he worked with several manufacturing, retail, third-party logistics and telecommunications companies on process improvement and strategy engagements to help them identify opportunities for cost reduction, service level improvement and revenue growth.

Mr. Gaurav received a bachelor's degree in engineering and transportation policy from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (formerly known as CLM).

Susan Olivier is an experienced, innovative executive with proven success managing critical transformation projects and driving quantifiable, sustainable business results. A strategic thinker with hands-on experience in Retail, Operations and Technology, she has worked with Fortune 500 companies and small businesses, translating business requirements into systems capabilities to support the bottom line.

Ms. Olivier's specialty areas are Product Development, Strategic Sourcing, and Global Change Management.

Ms. Olivier recently completed work on JCPenney's Cycle Time Reduction initiative, streamlining product flow from concept to consumer. Prior to JCPenney, Ms. Olivier spent 12 years with Limited Brands in a variety of functional and technical roles, first leading private brand product development and sourcing teams in the business and then leading technology change to support those areas.

Ms. Olivier started her career in Canada working in specialty and department store retail, and for leading manufacturers such as Reebok, Wrangler and Calvin Klein.

Ms. Olivier graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seneca College in Canada with a degree in marketing, and Magna Cum Laude from Suffolk University in Boston with an MBA focused on international business and applied technology.

Chief Strategy Officer, AMR Research

As Chief Strategy Officer for AMR Research, Kevin O'Marah brings a unique blend of intellectual prowess, practical business experience, and energy to AMR Research's clients. During his nearly seven years with the firm, Mr. O'Marah has worked with hundreds of companies on manufacturing, product lifecycle management (PLM), and supply chain strategy.

Mr. O'Marah launched AMR Research's PLM practice, and is a seminal author on PLM, having been included in over 100 articles defining the application's footprint, business impact, and market dynamics. He has also contributed to the firm's definition and coverage of demand-driven supply networks (DDSN), having authored several reports, including the AMR Research Supply Chain Top 25, defining the link to business operating metrics. He was named an AMR Research Fellow in 2002.

Prior to joining AMR Research, Mr. O'Marah worked on supply chain projects in a variety of industries including telecommunications, semiconductors, and chemicals. As a vice president at Oracle Corporation, Mr. O'Marah focused on supply chain and product data management strategy. He spent several years with Gemini Consulting, now part of Ernst & Young (GCE&Y), working with manufacturing companies on supply chain and product strategy. He worked with Mercer Consulting in London and Company Assistance Limited in Warsaw earlier in his career.

A graduate of Boston College, Oxford University, and Stanford Business School, Mr. O'Marah frequently speaks at industry events and executive conferences, where he is noted for his dynamic and engaging style. He is a widely published author and has been quoted in numerous business publications including The Financial Times, Fortune, BusinessWeek and The Wall Street Journal.

Yuka Yu is Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations, Sony Electronics. She is responsible for customer supply chain operations, data management and strategic integration of demand and supply planning processes and executions across the Sony Electronics enterprise.

Ms. Yu joined Sony Electronics in 2001 and has held numerous operational leadership positions with VAIO Marketing Group, Information Technology Product Division. She has been deeply involved in VAIO PC supply-chain strategy including collaborative forecasting, demand planning, new product introduction, customer-order fulfillment and demand-base management for the past several years. Most recently, Ms. Yu was Director of VAIO Marketing responsible for making the business profitable and achieving market leadership for VAIO PCs in the U.S. market.

Prior to joining Sony Electronics, Ms. Yu held several product planning and sales positions, including product planning with Toshiba Corporation, corporate resellers and OEM resellers, sales management with Tech Data Canada, and national retailers, and territory account management with Sony Canada.

Ms. Yu earned an Executive MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA degree from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (Tokyo Gaigokugo Daigaku). She is a member of Athena San Diego.

Ms. Yu was born in Taipei Taiwan and has lived in Tokyo and Canada. She currently resides in San Diego, USA.

David Aquino

Research Director, AMR Research

David Aquino is a Research Director in AMR Research's Supply Chain Process and Technology Service. He is responsible for the research and analysis of best practices and enabling technology focused upon: Demand Management, Vendor Managed Inventory, Inventory Segmentation, and Organizational Design and Talent Management.

Before joining AMR Research, Mr. Aquino was the Vice President of Supply Chain at Aramark Uniform and Career Apparel, where he was responsible for developing the process, organization, and proprietary supply chain technology to support the direct sale apparel organization and several key integration efforts between the three operating divisions.

Prior to Aramark, Mr. Aquino was the Vice President of Supply Chain at AAi. Foster Grant, Inc.

Mr. Aquino earned his BS in marketing from Syracuse University and his MBA from Fordham University. He is certified in production and inventory management from the Association for Operations Management (APICS).

Vice President Retail and Consumer Industries, i2 Technologies, Inc.

Ijaz Parpia has had experience in executive strategy consulting, software product management and development, and academic teaching and research. While at i2, he has had over 10 years of experience in delivering value to major corporations in the Retail and Consumer Goods sectors, leading teams focused on organizational alignment, processes, and systems, resulting in the delivery of major improvements in sales and profitability.

For the past four years, Mr. Parpia has led i2's worldwide product management and development organization for retail solutions. During his tenure, the i2 retail solution footprint has grown to include an industry-leading buying and assortment management application that has been licensed to several of the world's leading retailers.

While a member of the consulting organization at i2, Mr. Parpia led several strategy engagements, including a supply chain redesign project at a multi-billion dollar, U.S.-based shoe retailer, a buying and marketing systems redesign initiative at a leading grocery retailer in the Asia-Pacific region, and a forecasting and replenishment optimization project at a $50B consumer electronics conglomerate in Asia.

Prior to joining i2, Mr. Parpia worked on U.S. DOE supported projects on wind energy, developing and prototyping advanced wind turbines for farm and ranch applications. This work has led to several derivative small wind turbine designs.

Mr. Parpia spent the first 12 years of his professional career teaching and doing research in aerospace engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. He held a tenured faculty position at the university, and developed a strong research and teaching record in the area of Computational Fluid Dynamics.

Mr. Parpia has a Ph.D. from Purdue University.

i2 Chief Financial Officer Mike Berry provides an update on i2's recent financial performance.

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, i2 Technologies, Inc.

Michael J. Berry, i2 Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), brings to i2 a strong background in both finance and general management, having managed several software and technology services businesses.

As i2's CFO, Mr. Berry is responsible for overseeing i2's accounting and finance organization, as well as growing and maintaining i2's relationships with the financial community. He also manages and enhances the company's performance management and operational processes and expense control program, in addition to developing a strong financial management organization within i2.

Mr. Berry joined i2 in August 2005 from The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, Inc., a billion-dollar provider of technology solutions to the retail automotive industry. At Reynolds and Reynolds, he served as Senior Vice President for Solutions Management, where he had operational responsibility for the company's software and services business units, bringing focus to operating plans and execution while driving accountability and results. Mr. Berry also served Reynolds and Reynolds as Senior Vice President of Services, where he achieved profitability while reducing expenses and increasing customer satisfaction.

Prior to Reynolds and Reynolds, Mr. Berry spent three years as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Comdata Corporation, a leading provider of payment cards and related services to the transportation and retail industries. Mr. Berry also spent eight years at Travelers Express Co., Inc. (now known as MoneyGram International), where he was Vice President and General Manager of the Americas region, and Vice President of Planning and Acquisitions. He spent three years at Northwest Airlines, where he served as a Manager of Finance and Administration of an $800 million business unit, as well as a Product Manager, and Senior Consultant in Corporate Planning. Mr. Berry also held finance positions at Maxwell Graphics, Toro Company, and Best Buy Company.

Mr. Berry earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Augsburg College in Minneapolis and a master's degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.

Antonio Boccalandro, i2 Vice President of Latin America, is responsible for leading all business activities in the Latin American region. Working with i2 for more than eight years, Mr. Boccalandro has served in various sales, marketing and consulting roles within the organization. Most recently serving as Vice President for Fast Moving Consumer Goods, and prior to that as a Client and Project Manager, he managed implementation projects for transportation and distribution management, supply chain planning, supply chain visibility, supply chain network design, sales and operations management and other solutions. He has also participated in projects in the following industries: consumer goods, beverages, cement, retail, footwear and metals. He previously led the company's efforts surrounding business development, alliances, product management for transportation and product marketing.

Prior to his time at i2, Mr. Boccalandro worked as Chief Officer of Mergers and Acquisitions for a top five hardware and software distributor. He led the process of identifying, negotiating and executing 26 acquisitions of companies located around the world in addition to business development work. He also served on the company's board of directors.

Mr. Boccalandro received his executive business masters’ degree in business administration at Florida International University.
